With a vital mix of strong lead female vocals, roaring rock guitar and grooving rhythm section, The Rocksters are guaranteed to keep the music and atmosphere bubbling and the dance floor heaving, all night!

Cherry picking classic Rock, Pop & Soul numbers from the 60's to the chart toppers of today! Including bands such as The who, the LA Rockers - Guns n Roses and ‘up to date’ bands, Arctic Monkeys and Kaiser Chiefs.

The rocksters came together from a mutual love of all things ‘Rock’.
Individually, the band musicians have all play in a variety of different bands and varied musical styles from Motown and Atlantic Soul, to Jazz and blues. We are more than capable of playing the usual ‘four to the floor’ disco beats and tunes, but can also provide, what we believe to be, a much needed hipper alternative.

The band usually performs 3 x 45 min or 2 x 1 hour live sets.We provide a choice of cd compilation music that is played through the band PA, during all breaks, so there is no need to book an additional DJ.

About The Rocksters

The band line up is as a 4 piece - drums, bass guitar, lead guitar and lead female vocals. However, this can be extended to a 5 piece band to incorporate keyboards, as an option.

Live set times are 3 x 45 mins or 2 x 1 hours, but we do work to individual timetables, if required. A compilation of pre-recorded music is played through the band PA during all breaks between live sets. We will bring a wide range of music with us however you are welcome to provide your own break music on a cd or ipod (mp3 player). This is great as it saves you the extra cost of having a DJ.

All PA, backline, i.e. guitar amps, drum kit etc and stage lighting, are provided by the band. For an evening performance, we would normally arrive prompt at 6pm to be set up and ready by 7pm.

For a wedding, the band is happy to learn a first dance song of your choice to make your special day more memorable, we only ask for a weeks notice. A song list will be provided with your booking information, where you may choose a handful of ‘must have’ songs, if you wish. The band can then create the play list for your event, with the addition of tunes which have been road tested and proven to work. We also read the audience and will play to keep the dance floor full.

The band is always punctual, polite and professional – from your first enquiry to the final encore at the end of the gig! We have a smart dress code, unless otherwise stated. In short, you don’t have to worry about ‘what the band are doing’, as we aim to provide ‘hassle free’ musical entertainment, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the evening to the full.

We are based in the South East and London, and tend to be booked in the surrounding locale and have had the pleasure of playing in some of the South East’s most beautiful venues. We are experienced at working in rooms with sound monitors and working to health and safety parameters, and the band has full public liability insurance.
